Programs

Three programs that compound — trees hold soil, soil holds water, water grows the livelihoods that keep the trees.

01 · Reforestation

Hillside reforestation

We raise native species in village nurseries, then plant them on the slopes that need them most — and tend them through the vulnerable early years that most schemes skip.

Survival, not saplings, is the number we report. Last year it was 87 percent.

02 · Water

Watershed recovery

Reforested slopes hold rain instead of shedding it. Springs that had run dry for a generation come back — and with them, water for the valleys downstream through the dry season.

We map every spring before and after, and the maps are public.

03 · Livelihoods

Agroforestry

Trees paired with crops mean the land pays its way while it heals. Families get fruit, fodder, shade and income — and a reason to keep the forest standing long after we’ve gone.

The land that earns is the land that lasts.
